In many areas the Law increasingly disadvantages the poor and advantages the rich. This article considers just two examples from the U.K. These are the continuing withdrawal of funding of poor people's civil claims, and the inequality between the severity of treatment of the visible street-crime of poor people compared to the lack of prosecution of invisible crimes by the rich.
