There's no doubt about it -- personal injury lawyers have got a bad reputation these days. Although they've certainly earned some of the credit for their now infamous reputation, injury attorneys aren't the total parasites they're made out to be. Society's negative opinion of personal injury law is slightly blown out of proportion, and consequentially, many legitimate injury victims are deterred from filing a lawsuit when that may in fact be the only way for them to cover the medical costs of the treatment for their injury. So when is it appropriate to file a lawsuit, and when would doing so be considered over-litigious?
