James Cracknell, the British Olympic gold medallist rower, had his life turned upside down when suffered a serious traumatic brain injury (TBI) in July 2010. After lengthy rehabilitation, his main limitation was being unable to drive due to his risk of epilepsy. His case illustrates the daily difficulites faced by head injury victims, even if they fortunately make an otherwise good recovery.
